Q Tell us about how you became a writer.
A I was in the seventh grade and a teacher inspired me to write.
Q Where do you get your ideas from?
A Observing everyday women – struggling. These women are strong! They have brains, brawn and they are beautiful. They’re survivors.
Q How would you describe your writing style?
A Narrative. There’s fun characters, a ton of conflict and I hope beautiful settings for the reader to escape to.
Q What advice would you give other writers?
A Follow successful writers. Are they doing something you ought to be doing? What are they saying on social media? How often do they post on social media?
Q How did you meet your literary agent?
A At the Unicorn Writers’ Conference in Purchase, New York.
Q What has been your greatest success so far?
A Meeting my book doctor. We make a great team. Barbara really cares about my stories.
Q What’s next for you?
A Book Tour! I can’t wait to share my stories, experiences, triumphs and my struggles as a writer.
Q What message are you hoping to share?
A That’s easy. I want women and men to know that they can be strong enough to live their best life…at any age!
